We had a fruitful meeting that had updated on existing projects and discussions on few new appeals.
Bro Christopher Yeo and Bro How Eng Keong joined us from Laos and KL respectively to update and discuss Covid-19 Relief Projects.
After much deliberation, we had approved 3 more Covid-19 Relief Projects :- Laos (to be led by Bro Christopher), Sri Lanka (Karuna Trust) and one other with Maha Karuna Buddhist Society (KL).
Sis Melinda shared a video record from a Zoom Meeting she conducted with Bhante U Ashin Aggasara and Bro Aye Chan (Toe) from Shwegyin Youth Development Center (YDC) on the latest situation at the YDC as well as the Covid-19 relief work that we collaborated.
Everyone was touched and heartened by so much compassionate efforts put in and the updates. We thank our exco, coordinators, volunteers, donors and partners for their dedication in trying to create a better world.
