In 2020, FFM, together with various partner organisations, has provided Covid-19 Relief to over 5,000 beneficiaries to those most vulnerable and badly affected by the pandemic in countries like Singapore, Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, Laos, Bhutan and Myanmar. In recent months many countries are experiencing new waves of Covid-19 outbreaks and there are new URGENT requests from our partner organisations for relief support, especially from India. We would also like to encourage you to participate in The Great Metta Sit organised by Singapore Buddhist Mission (SBM) Vesak celebrations (#OneMettaApart). The Great Metta Sit is a virtual 15-minutes Metta Meditation activity conducted under the guidance of Venerable Mahinda Maha Thera on Vesak Day 26 May (9am -12.30pm). For every 1 minute of meditation done, SBM will donate $1 to Firefly Mission and Aranya Sangha Dana Fellowship in support of vulnerable and needy communities.
