Dos and Don'ts from the SBS Management

 

General

- Please help to maintain the cleanliness and neatness of SBS at all times.

- When trying to test if the microphone is switched on, please do not tap the mike or blow on it. Just test by speaking into the mike.

Multi Purpose Hall (MPH)

- Please place your shoes neatly on the shoe racks provided. If there's not enough space at the shoe racks, arrange your shoes neatly on the floor.

- Please keep the doors closed at all times.

- The last person to leave the hall, please switch off all lights and fans.

- Please close all windows when it is raining and before leaving.

 

Living quarters

- The last person to leave the room, please switch off all lights and fans.

- Washing is not encouraged for this short duration of stay.

 

Toilet and bathing facilities

- Available on ground floor and basement of MO building.

- Please keep them clean at all times.

- To conserve water, please do not flush every time after a short call. Use water from the hose to flush the urine down. However, when you find that it's beginning to smell, you can flush.

- Please switch off shower heater after use.

- Please clear the bathroom of hair or any debris after your shower, to prevent clogging.

- Please ensure taps are properly turned off.

- Toilet tissues are not encouraged, to prevent clogging of toilets. Please use water from the hose for cleaning – Malay style. We have provided liquid hand soap for your use.

 

Kitchen

- Please follow signboard instructions eg in/out, male/female tables, directions.

- Meal times will be indicated by the sounding of the gong.

- Meals will be served buffet style.

- Participants are to go to the dining hall using the front office stairs and to Q-up in separate Q lines for male and female participants.

- Male and female participants will sit in separate tables.

- Please wash your own trays, cutleries and cups after meal times or any time after use.
