Firefly Mission: Central Jawa Trip 2012
Dear Brothers & Sisters,
We are pleased to share that Firefly Mission (FFM) visited Central Java again, from Mar 10th to 14th, during the week of school holidays.
This year the trip was a special one because we attended the official opening of the newly completed student hostel @ STIAB Smaratungga Boyolali built by Firefly Mission.
We also visited Borobudur and some other ancient Buddhist & Hindu Temples (many of which are UNESCO World Cultural Heritage).

Saturday, 10 March 2012
- Singapore – Yogyakarta by Air Asia
- Tour around Candi Sewu and Prambanan OR Visit Batik industry and shopping
- Stay at Magelang
Sunday, 11 March 2012
- Borobudur
- Go to Dieng (mountain)
Monday, 12 March 2012
- Visit Buddhist community at Wonosobo
- Go to Ampel, STIAB
- Cross culture night, dinner and Camp fire at STIAB
- Stay a night at STIAB hostel
Tuesday, 13 March 2012
- Opening ceremony of student hostel at STIAB in the morning till lunch time
- Overnight at Hotel in Ampel (hotel to be confirmed)
- Night meditation at hotel’s area
Wed, 14 March 2012
- Semarang – Singapore by Batavia Air
Tour fare:
