Keningau Sabah Project 2019 Updates

Background

On the Aug 2018, Bro Lawrence Lee and Benny Ong from Sabah presented to Firefly Mission the works of Matakana’s  Keningau school in Sabah.

The project is to expand the Keningau School in Sabah with 2 additional classrooms, a staff room, a store room, 3 toilets and a covered roof that spans across the current building and the two new proposed 2 classrooms. The school is for stateless children whose parents are illegal migrant workers from Indonesia and the Philippines.

Project Details

The cost of the project is

 RM93,304 (building RM78,454 and furnishing RM14,850).

Benefits: 180 students
