Trip accomplished with happy heart
From December 6–14, 2025, 33 FFM members embarked on a meaningful journey to Thailand, visiting Nakhon Pathom and the Tak border area.
The purpose of the trip was to revisit projects previously sponsored by FFM and to officially hand over several newly completed initiatives.
During the visit, the team formally handed over the following projects:
Donation to MPTR* to support preparations for the venue of the 7th Buddhist Council.
Ban Pakajao School – New kindergarten building.
Mae Ra Meung School – Solar cell system.
Ban Tadsude School – New classroom.
Kreki School – New dining hall and refurbished kindergarten building.
Mae Wa Laung School – Student transport truck.
In addition, FFM donated groceries, homemade FFM cookies, soft toys, and English books to the schools. As part of the trip, some members undertook a pilgrimage hike up Le Kwa Doh Peak to pay respects to the Buddha’s relic enshrined in a chedi, while others were invited to witness a monk’s ordination ceremony. We were deeply grateful to receive Dhamma guidance from Luang Por Preedah, our spiritual advisor for the Tak Border Projects.
FFM was further invited to participate in the construction of a monks’ hospice and hospital and received 19 new requests for support from various schools in the Tak area, reflecting the growing student population and the need to further facilitate education. Many participants were deeply moved and inspired to witness the joy that FFM’s projects have brought to the children and teachers.
We rejoice in the generosity that arose from this experience, as we have already received several offers to take on project costs as main sponsors and multiple partial sponsorships. We rejoice in this truly happy and wholesome trip.
Sadhu Sadhu Sadhu Anumodana! Â
