A wonderful start to 2026 for the Firefly Mission!
On 17 Jan 2026, our Exco and Coordinators gathered for our first monthly meeting. Centered by a Puja and meditation, we filled the space with Metta (Loving Kindness), Karuna (Compassion), and Punna (Wisdom).
We reflected on the incredible light spread through our recent work in Laos, Thai-Tak, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and our Dhammaduta (LP Viradhammo, Bhante Rahula & for Ajahn Chah Remembrance Day) efforts.
There was so much to rejoice in!
- generosities and commitments
- completed projects
- approvals for new initiatives, including:
- School builds in Laos
- Thailand-border projects in Tak
- Myanmar earthquake rehabilitation
The evening ended with joyful fellowship (Kalyana Mitta) and a shared feast—a perfect close.
