Silk Road Part 2 Briefing and Meal Dana for the Sangha

Today, our FIREFLY Mission family gathered at The Interlace for the FFM-Silk Road II, Trip Briefing cum Meal Dana. It was a day filled with gratitude, mindful preparation, and the warmth of a wonderful community.

​Morning Blessings: Sangha Meal Dana & Potluck

​We began the morning with a merit-filled Meal Dana for the Sangha: Ajaan Tong, Ajaan Klom, Bhante Lee, and Phra Maha Anuchit at Bro Arnold and Sis Patsy’s home. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who arrived early to offer food and to our hosts for opening their doors. The fellowship continued in the function room with a massive potluck spread!

Gearing Up: Silk Road (Part 2) Briefing

​Sis Lay Hoon led a firm yet full of laughter, heartfelt briefing session, guiding us through the logistics of our upcoming journey. From the altitudes of the Mountains (3,700m) to the cultural heritage of Southern Xinjiang, we are all feeling much more prepared.

We wrapped up the afternoon with the collection of our trip T-shirts and more fellowship. Seeing everyone in high spirits makes the anticipation for our "Journey of Gratitude" to Xuan Zang even stronger.
